Broomfield are back in Division 2 next season and will compete alongside Selly Park (W&W), Boldmere St Michaels (W&W), Kings Heath Park (W&W), Ye Olde Knowle (W&W), Kings Norton (W&W), Woodfield 'B' (Staffs), The Rag (Staffs), Sir John Bayley (Shropshire) and Netherseal (Derby). If any of these teams resign then King George V 'B' (W&W) are the only team on the waiting list. The league will payout £7500 in prize money in 2017 with the Division 2 breakdown:

  • £500 - Division 2 Champions
  • £400 - Runners Up
  • £250 - 3rd Place
  • £150 - 4th Place
  • £100 - 5th Place
  • £100 - Division Average Winner

There were two notable and expected absences from the meeting in league secretary Mel Evans MBE and treasurer Lynn Pritchatt. A letter from Lynn Pritchatt confirmed that Mel Evans would be stepping down as Secretary as he continues to battle the debilitating effects of motor neurone disease. We wish them both well for the coming months.

07/11/16 - We are sad to announce that Cliff Tebbet of M&B B.C. passed away on Saturday 5th November after a long period of ill health. The funeral will take place at Sandwell Crem on Saturday 12th November at 11:00am then on to the Eaton Hotel, Hagley Road.
