28/07/16 - Having hosted the All England three years ago in 2013, this year Broomfield will travel to the event for the first time. Those who have booked places on the coach please note the departure time of 7:45am from the George (Warley) Pub. Breakfast will be served at the George from 6:45am/7am - only available to those that have pre ordered.

26/07/16 - Two re-arranged fixtures take place this week as follows:
20/07/16 - The Smethwick 'B' fixture against the Bell Inn this Sunday (24th July) has been cancelled due to a lack of available players.

13/07/16 - Dates for the remaining 2016 club competitions have been agreed (see below). All club competitions are open to both full and associate members. Practice is now permitted between 1:25pm and 1:55pm. The sign in cut-off is 1:55pm for a prompt 2:00pm start.
The Chairmans Shield was last played for in 1999 and has been resurrected for the 2016 season. The competition follows its previous format in that members who have not participated in an 'A' team game are allowed to enter. "A" team games are defined as W&W Premier, Summit, Oldbury 'A' and Smethwick 'A'.
A date is yet to be confirmed for the Graham Gilbert & Adam Rose Memorial competition. This is a joint club competition open to members of both Broomfield and M&B B.C.
12/07/16 - The green will be in use on Friday evening for a W&W Premier 'A' Cup quarter final. Moseley Cricket Club face Moor Lane with the match starting at 7:00pm.
07/07/16 - 101st BCGBA Flowfit Individual Merit - On Saturday 30th July the 'All England' returns to Llay Miners Welfare Club who also hosted the finals in 1976 and 2001. Broomfield have one qualifier and will be organising a coach for those that wish to attend. c.20-25 places have been taken. If you wish to book a place on the coach please contact Darren Griffiths ASAP who is looking to book on Saturday (9th July). Those travelling direct please find details below:
