1960 – Friendly fixtures: Played 5, Won 3
1960 – Fred Freeman wins the Club Championship.
1961 – Green Captain: Bill Thurlby, Vice Captain: Jack Wray.
1961 – Wilf Robins wins his first Club Championship and first Club Handicap.
1961 – (05/05/61) Opening of the new pavilion at Smethwick Cricket Club after a £5000 redevelopment which would finally offer a substantial bar facility.
1962 – Green Captain: Jack Wray, Vice Captain: Wilf Robins.

1963 – The Chairmans Shield is given to the section by the Chairman Mr Edgar Cole. First won by Wilf Robins who beat John Harnett in the final.
1963 – Green Captain: Wilf Robins, Vice Captain: John Harnett.
1963 – Friendly fixtures: Played 9, Won 6, Lost 3
1963 – “Spoon Drive Winner” – Fred Freeman.
1963 – (AGM) “A discussion by members on joining a team to play in the Smethwick Wednesday League was not favourable to members who would like to continue as present, more matches would be sought to make up a good season.”

1964 – Green Captain: John Harnett, Vice Captain: Edgar Cole.
1964 – Friendly fixtures: Played 16, Won 9, Lost 5, 2 rain affected.
1964 – First season for Bill Adams who had starting playing cricket for Smethwick C.C. as a 15 year old.
1964 – Fred Freeman wins the Club Championship for the 4th time (1950, 1953, 1960, 1964).
1964 – Wilf Robins retains the Chairmans Shield.
1964 – Deaths of J.Edwards, P.Stevens and Wal Marshall.

1965 – Green Captain: Edgar Cole, Vice Captain: John Potter.
1965 – Friendly fixtures: Played 12, Won 6, Lost 4, 2 rain affected.
1965 – Frank Stokes goes one better than 1964 by winning the Club Championship.
1965 – Roy Freeman wins his first Club Handicap.
1965 – Bert Wilkinson wins the Chairmans Shield beating the groundsman Sam Evitts 21-15 in the final.
1965 – (AGM) “Members did think that more competitive bowling would be welcome by members”

1966 – Green Captain: John Potter, Vice Captain: Arthur Turley.
1966 – Friendly fixtures: Played 10, Won 6, Lost 3, 1 rained off. Included “new” fixture vs G.K.N.
1966 – Bowls is played next door to Broomfield as the Cape Of Good Hope B.C. move to Smethwick Labour B.C. with matches played at Harry Mitchell Park. They would continue to use the green until 1975.
1966 – (AGM) “A proposal by Wilf Robins seconded F.Parker that the bowls section should apply for nomination to the Warwick & Worcester C.A.B.A. was passed.”

1967 – Club Championship won by Billy Clews, Club Handicap won by Harry Wright.
1967 – Annual Dinner & Dance held at The Barleycorn.

1968 – Green Captain: Harry Kendrick, Vice Captain: Arthur Woodward.
1968 – Friendly fixtures: Played 12, Won 5, Lost 5, 2 cancelled. Included matches against the Hollybush and The Towers, Great Barr.
1968 – Broomfield bowler Roy Freeman is part of the Smethwick Cricket Club team that wins Division 1 of the Birmingham & District Cricket League.

1969 – Club Captain: Arthur Woodward, Vice Captain: Wilf Robins.
1969 – First league bowls as club enter one team in the Oldbury & District Bowling League.
1969 – (AGM 11/11/69) Captains (x2), Chairman and Secretary elected for procedure of selection of players for the league teams. Proposed by John Harnett, seconded by Arthur Turley.
